A day at the lake

Last Saturday we met Holli and Shawn and Angela and Melissa at Roosevelt.  It was a nice warm day and the water was PERFECT!  It was refreshing but not cold.  We had so much fun being pulled on the tube.

 Dustin and Rhett tried their hand at wake boarding.  It looks like they did decent for their first time - at least they got up!  I wasn't in the boat so I didn't get to see them.

It was a super fun day!  The saddest thing was Bridget had to work so she wasn't able to go with us.  It was very hard leaving her home.  

Tylinn is 11

Our little Tylinn turned 11 this year.  It's fun having Summer birthdays!  She opened her presents 1st thing.  A bead set from Grandma McLaws

 She had a few girls over to swim.

 We had lunch at Bakers and we to Patrick's Pond for some hot dogs and crawdad fishing.  It was so pretty there.

 It was a great evening!  Fun people, fun place with good food!!

Tylinn is such a joy to have in our family!  She has been smiling since the day she was born.  She is so kind and tender.  We love you Tylinn!  So glad you are in our family!

Girls Softball

Tylinn and Kaylee were able to play softball again this year.  They were on the same team so that was great.  They did good and loved it!

The Trek

The Trek happened again this year.  Bruce told Pres Whipple if they needed us for anything we would help.  With being a Ma and Pa last time and seeing how neat it is and having 2 kids going I was more then happy to be a part of it.  He ended up asking us to be adult children.  Here we are ready to go.

My camera battery was dead so I didn't get any pictures on the trek.  It was a great experience but I missed being with Bruce, Bridget and Dustin.  We were all there but didn't see them much - especially Dustin.  It was for sure a testimony builder!
