First Day of School 2016

I can't believe it is already here again! We did our Father's Blessings which we are so thankful for!

 And read The Kissing Hand book.  The kids are all great sports to do this with me every year!  Love them!!

And they are off just like that!  It means I am back to work and the craziness begins again!  And just like that Bridget will be graduated and gone!  I can't believe it.  This is going to be a great year!!

Rhett is 15

This cute boy turned 15 on Tuesday.  Bro. Parham dropped off a cake for him. Rhett was able to work for Bro Parham this summer some.  He made great money and it was good for him.  The first time he came home he said "that was actually fun!" So sweet of Bro. Parham!

 That afternoon we went with the Parry's, Caleb and Caden to Patrick's Pond to do some crawdad fishing and hot dogs.

 That night we surprised him and had some friends show up to hang out for a while.  They had to find jelly beans in this whipped cream.  I learned after this that whipped cream and kids need to be outside!  It turned into more of a whipped cream fight.  They would have gone outside but it was raining!

 Here is the crew that came!  Rhett is a great kid and lots of fun!  He had a great birthday!

A Day at the Lake!

 Holli and Shawn were generous enough to meet us at the lake again this year.  I tried really hard to make sure we had 1 Saturday where kids were home and off work so we could do this.  Last minute Dustin had to stay home to work.  He missed out on a fun day! Shawn's friend Les came with his boat too so every body got plenty of turns!

 Rhett Man is quite the wake boarder.  He popped right up and rode forever!!

 Tyllinn wanted a try at wake boarding.  Bruce jumped in to try to give her a couple of lessons.

 She got SO close a few times getting up but this was about as far as she got.  She did great but got tired.  Next time she will get it for sure!
