Last Saturday we went down the Young road to get some wood. We can’t cut hard wood in our Forrest right now so we had to go to Tonto Forrest. Bruce knew where some wood was but it was down a steep hill. We took the mule to get it up the wood up the hill. It all worked great until the u- joints went out on the mule and we couldnt get it up the hill. After many broken straps and lots of time pulling we finally got it up.

Pumpkin Carving
Well got our pumpkins carved for another year. When Dustin and I were planting the garden we weren’t going to plant any pumpkins because if the little garden we were doing with the crazy summer we had. I decided if we didn’t plant any come fall (my favorite time of year) I would be sad. So we threw a row of seeds in. For some reason not very many of them turned orange so we carved green pumpkins.

Today at school at Mountain Meadows Elwanda and I were looking through old books and I found my favorite kids ever!! Pretty dang adorable! ❤️
Elder Cook in Romania
On Monday Elder Cook went to Romania for a visit- to Bucharest. Dustin and companion and sisters got on a plane and flew to Bucharest to meet with him for the day. This is what Dustinbhad to say about it:
We woke up at 4:30 and took a plane to bucharest yesterday. it was super fun getting to see all of the missionaries in romania there. elder sabin of the seventy came with elder cook and both of their wives and all of it was super good. they pretty much came to give us a pep talk. it was super good though and the spirit was of course super super strong. elder cook bore to us a very powerful witness of Jesus Christ. he said recently hes felt like he needs to be more explicit and he definitely was with us because ive never heard an apostle be that explicit when witnessing of Christ. But yeah that was an amazing experience. I got to see elder laker there and talk to him for a bit!
Last Wednesday dustin went on exchanges and was with this Elder Jacob from Queen Creek. Dustin has a lot of fun with him!
The group of missionaries with Elder Cook. He went to Romania on Monday and Hungary on Tuesday.
Dustin got to see Elder Laker there- his MTC companion.

The group!
Bridget had her 20th birthday on Sunday the day we were coming home! We did Mexican cake with icecream.
Rhett stayed home Wednesday and Thursday night and went to payson Friday to spend the weekend with Porter. They took family pictures while he was with them.
We decided on the way back we would stop in Sonoyta Mexico for church. It was great! Great looking kids! It made me thing a lot of Dustin and how that branch there was probably a lot like the branch in Lasi. I had a hard time during because of this! One boy is leaving next week on his mission. The 4 young men that did the sacrament looked so good and sharp!!
As soon as they said amen this girl in the black dress jumped up and came to our girls. I think she was super excited to have some girls her age there. Because of the long drive we still had we just stayed for sacrament meeting. They were all super nice! We decided we need to leave every time on Sunday and stop there for church.
Very humble happy people that are happy for their membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! Great trip! We can’t wait to go back!!
