Passing of Grandma Nena

Grandma Nena passed away peacefully Friday December 28 in her bed. The day before she wasn’t very responsive and quite eating. She make it to 100 years old! She lived a great life and was a great example of love for your family and service. I remember going to Mesa and staying with her for our “turn” for the summer. Going to KFC, Yellow Front with the dollar she gave me. Also where I got my love for lucky charms and dum dum suckers were always there. The pantry always had the best store bought cookies in it. I remember when I was just young always wanting to be like Grandma Nena.

Christmas 2018

Christmas was great this year as usual! Bridget and Karsten were able to be with us for a while Christmas morning.

This was the highlight of the day by far....... Skyping with Elder McLaws!!!! He is doing so good! We got to talk to him for 1 hour and 45 minutes and it was great!!!!

Our family...... Dustin loves being a missionary and loves life! Some other elders came in and they talked Romanian together. It was great to hear him speak Romanian and doing great with the language! We ended with him saying our family prayer in Romanian! Sure love that boy!!!

Bridget got a new camera. She had fun playing with her good camera.

Christmas Eve

We had a fun Christmas Eve in Snowflake with the cousins.

Mother fell 3 times and ended up being a mess with 2 black eyes and a broken arm.
