Last Day of School for the Others

Tylinn and Kaylee got awards at the assembly the last day of school. Kaylee got honor roll (so thankful for kids that are dedicated to school!!)  and perfect attendance for 3rd and 4th quarter.  Tylinn got Honor Roll, Perfect attendance for 4th quarter and also Best All Around which Mr. Maner described as the MVP award!  Go Tylinn!

 I like to take a picture the last day of school of all the kids with their reaction that school is out and on to a new year.  Here is Tylinn.  I CAN NOT believe she will be in Jr. High!!

 Kaylee is sad to leave Mrs. Jackson but is looking forward to a new year - but she loved Mrs. Jackson!

 Dustin was in trouble from the night before not being where he was supposed to be and not being home on time so he wasn't happy about much of anything.  It floors me that he will be a Junior and Bridget a Senior!

 Kaylee had to draw a sad face to share her feelings better!

Rhett and Bridget were gone with friends after school and I forgot to get pictures of them later.

Last Day of School

Barr and Noah worked for a couple of weeks building a tandem bike to ride to school the last day of school.  They got it all finished and it looked great!

Bridget joined them on their way to school.


It will be fun to see what creation they come up with next year for the last day of school!  Love that these 3 are such great friends!

Walk to School

The last week of school Mr. and Mrs. Maner have a walk to school day.  This year they forgot to announce it at the school so it was just Capps kids from our neighborhood.  Bruce and I had to leave for work before the Maner's got there so here are the kids waiting for them.  The kids love it every year!

Cast Off!

It was a happy day when we got to cut Kaylee's cast off.  Day before the water field day at school.  She thought it was pretty yucky!

High School Awards Banquet

We got to enjoy the evening at the High School Awards Banquet.  The orchestra played some nice songs while we ate yummy chicken dinner.  NHS served dinner so Dustin was there helping with that.

 Bridget ended up with an Academic Award on the Superintendent's List with a star and an Orchestra Award.  Bridget also lettered in Academics.

 Sure love these 2 but time is going way too fast!

Jr. High Awards

Mr. Rhett Man ended up from the awards assembly with a track award and the highest award in English, Math and Science!  So smarty pants Rhett!

Capps Talent Show 2016

The last week of school we had the Talent Show at Capps.  They bused Mountain Meadows kids there again this year.  It is fun for the kids to have such a big audience.  Tylinn played the cello with Emalee, Kennedi, and Megan

 Abbie and Kaylee lip syncing to Under the Sea.  They did this all by themselves.  It was cute but Kaylee learned next time they need to dance or something with it.

 Brea, Tylinn, Emma, Paige, Allie and Kamryn did the Hoe Down song.

 Kaylee, Seneca and Kayla danced with their horses to She'll be Comin Around the Mountain. It was really cute.

 Those same girls that did the Hoe Down Dance did a glow stick dance.

 And Tylinn's class (Mr. Maner's Class) did their juggling and performing stuff.  It was really fun to watch them juggle and the other things they did.  They dressed 50's and danced their little hearts out on stage if they weren't juggling.

They all did great!
