Halloween 2015

We had a happy Halloween again this year.  The kids are carving their pumpkins.

Dustin was at practice when we started and came home and I guess decided he was too old to carve a pumpkin - so sad - his first year not carving one.  We grew all these pumpkins in our garden plus about 6 more still on the porch.  The finished products!

For NHS they had to help with the haunted hay ride for the Chamber of commerce.  Bridget is dressed up ready to go scare people.

Kaylee has some serious artistic ability.  She amazes me almost everyday the things she thinks of in her head and makes.  There is some huge talent with this girl.  Here is a bat and witch she made from scratch without a picture or anything!
Not sure why the pictures didn't turn the right way - this year Tylinn and Kaylee were Salt and Pepper.  The shirt lady in town made the shirts for me and we found the rest of their stuff around, We did have dots on the top of their hats as holes for the salt and pepper to come out of.  They were really cute and we had a lot of fun with it!

Night of Sacred Music

These 2 beautiful children of mine all ready to go sing at the Night of Sacred Music with the High School Choir.  They crushed it!!!  It was the first performance for the high school choir that Tiffani and Melanie are doing.

Volleyball Awards

The other night we had the volleyball awards banquet.  Bridget got an award and shirt for the most aces 61 won it!  Go Bridget!
Her with her best buddy Whipple!

State Volleyball

We were able to go to Prescott and watch these girls at state. They played Friday morning at 8 so I left early that morning with Whipples for Prescott. Brice had meetings in Phoenix that day. They won the firs game so they played Piñon at 6 that night. Bruce made it for that game. Piñon was #1 so it was a tough game. We beat them the first match  but they ended up beating us the next 3 so it was over. The girls played great! We have high hopes for next year!!

Random

My cute Beehives after having Cupcake Wars for mutual!
Tylinn and Kaylee both lost a tooth the same night so each of them got to put a tooth in dad's hippo tooth pillow.

Conference weekend was a great weekend!!  Love our crepes - this time we tried pumpkin crepes!

The next night Kaylee lost another tooth and so did Rhett.

Dustin got his cast cut off.  We just decided to do it here at home instead of at the doctor. Save on time and money!

Life is good!  Dustin did get a pretty good concussion the next football game he played in - it was in Joseph City - so he sat out another week of practice and games.  Thankfully he was able to play with his cast on!

Random

Bruce and I got to watch Garth Brooks in concert in Phoenix.  It was awesome!  Bruce sang every word to every song!!  Trisha Yearwood came out and sang a few songs too.  It was my first concert and Bruce's 2nd so we were rookies at it but loved every minute of it.  We spent Friday night in Phoenix - did some shopping and headed home.  It was a nice quick get away weekend!  Love spending time with this guy of mine!!

Kids in their duds all ready for church!  What a beautiful sight!
Kaylee with her cup stacking expertise!

Bridget is 17!!

I really can't believe I have a 17 year old.  Bridget had a great non eventful birthday!  We got up bright and early and opened a few presents and had breakfast burritos that dad made while I was gone exercising.  Then off to school and practice.  We ditched mutual because it was Personal Progress and she already has hers so I told her she didn't have to go this time.  We watched Back to the Future part 2 where the day they go into the future is October 21, 2015 - so no more future for that movie - it's all in the past!

Kaylee made Bridget this card - she is always so sweet to have a card or something for everybody!
All the kids bright and early in the morning (yes I made Dustin stand in here :)
Bridget got this new sweatshirt!  Her and Tylinn love each other!
 Enjoying dinner at Casa Romos!
And for her cake she wanted Graham Cracker Dessert.  So that is what she got!  These smiles on her face is how Bridget is 99% of the time.  She is such a fun girl and brings such fun to life! I can't believe it's been 17 years already and I only have probably 1 more birthday left with her under our roof!  It's so fun to see them grow up but so hard on the other hand.  So proud of the young woman she has become and the example she is to me!
