Presidents Parade

Friday at school Rhett Man had his President's Day Parade.  Each student is assigned a president and they have to do a report on that president and make a float.  All of the kids have a parade with their floats.  It is really cute.  This year Rhett had Andrew Jackson.

After they do their parade they tell something interesting about their president.

Bridget Basketball

As you can see it is Basketball time in Heber.  Here are some pictures from Bridget's season.  A couple of weeks ago she hurt her wrist snowboarding so she had to sit a few games and let her wrist heal.

It is so hard to get good pictures in the Capps gym so this is as good as it gets!
She still loves basketball and is excited for their last game tomorrow too!

Dustin Basketball

This was Dustin's 1st year of playing school basketball.  He decided he LOVES basketball.  Here are a few pictures from his season.

Their poor jerseys were huge.  I think they are hand me downs from varsity some year. They went to the Tonto Basin Tournament and took 2nd there.  They were pretty excited about that.  He ended up playing quite a bit and scoring quite a few points.  He has one last game tomorrow then he is finished for the season.

Twins

These crazy girls were pretty pround they could be chubby twins with their Nightgown on with PJ pants and their skirts under their nightgowns.

MLK Day

I like any excuse to have the kids home on a nice day and Bruce off work - even if it is MLK Day.  The boys and Bruce finally got the mule running so we went out for a little family ride and picnic.  We cooked tinfoil dinners and shot guns.

It was SO nice to finally be able to be outside doing something!
Bridget had a Social Studies test the next day on the capitols of all the states.  So she was out there trying to get those memorized.  She ended up teaching her self a song and aced the test!  Sammy was great help, as you can see!

Every body having their turn shooting!
Our dinners were good but even better were the marshmallows afterwards!
Scott and Jordan were out shooting a little ways from us so they came over and had some marshmallows.
It was nice to be outside and together as a family!

Tylinn Basketball

Tylinn got to play on the little basketball league here in town some parents put on.  They would practice on Saturdays and during the high school games they would play a short game.  These were the only 2 pictures we could get that weren't blurry.

Tylinn has decided she LOVES basketball!

Late Start

A couple of weeks ago at school they had a 3 hour late start.  So Bridget thought it would be fun to have friends over before school to have waffles.

These crazy kids had waffles then played Just Dance on the Wii.  It is a good group of kids!
