Christmas Duds

The kids all decked out in their new Christmas clothes.

I sure love these guys!  It is nice to see Dustin has grown a bit.  Towers over me and Bridget now.  I guess it's sad but he needs to grow!!  Now Rhett needs a turn!

Unfortunately this is more like how it is around this place!

Christmas Tree Decorating

Elder Strong left to go home a few weeks ago.  He was one of our fav's!

Zippy our elf!  He was hanging on for dear life!

And wouldn't be complete without a Christmas Orchestra Concert.  There was a Mountain Meadows program too.

Mustang Football Dinner

The football team had a great banquet and awards dinner for the team.  Dustin got his letter as a Freshman and he was an excited boy.  He loved playing football!!

Passed the test!

Bridget passed her driving test right after her birthday and is now an official driver.  It is so nice!!

Thanksgiving 2014

We had a great Thanksgiving this year.  It was a little different though.  Bruce has been working in Pinetop at the PO there for the past 3 months while that Postmaster is gone for a while.  We were supposed to spend Thanksgiving with the LeSueur's this year.  Usually when we do that we take 2 cars down to the valley so Bruce can come home Thanksgiving night for work on Friday.  This year with him working in Pinetop he is on the road enough so we stayed home and had Thanksgiving Dinner with just our little family.  It was actually really fun.  Everybody helped get things ready and we had just what we all like.  Bruce getting the Turkey on the plate.

Tylinn was the photographer - this is what she thought was important - Sweet Potatoes and Stuffing
 Mashed potatoes
Kaylee was proud of the rolls

I am not sure where Bridget was that she didn't get in a picture.
After Thanksgiving Dinner the kids and I headed down to the Valley for Friday and Saturday.  We went to the Temple lights real quick with the Schultz's.

It was a very enjoyable trip full of shopping and family!

Mustang State Champs

Mustang Football are the STATE CHAMPS!!  Here we are getting a sign made to take to the big game.  Kessiah and Kim and Kay came to help.

Hunter got a volleyball sweatshirt with Bridget's name on it to wear to cheer her on.  He brought Dustin home everyday from football and would always come in to say hi.

The big game.  They announced all the boys names as they ran out.  Dustin was glad to be part of this team.

After they won the game.  It was a great game!  It was SO EXCITING!!

When playoff's started coach Slade told the Freshman they could be finished and get ready for basketball.  Well Dustin and Noah didn't want to quit.  They wanted to keep at it with the football team even if it just meant standing on the sidelines for all of the playoff games and working at practice.  Well Dustin got smashed over and over at practice by big boys but he kept up out there.  It all paid off being part of this championship team.  All the older boys were great to him!

Bridget was proud to wear her #8 shirt and had to get a picture of them in their #8 shirt and Jersey.
 Me and my boy!

 Dustin, Chandler, and Noah
Barr and Dustin - Barr was so good to Dustin
 Jordan and Dustin
Dustin's biggest fan club minus Rhett and Kaylee.  We couldn't find Rhett when we were taking this picture and Kaylee stayed home with the Andersens while we were gone to the game.
 Proud parents!
