Awards Banquet

Last night we had the football and volleyball awards banquets.

It’s always great to see accomplishments with your kids! They are great kids and I and super happy with life!! 😁

Redneck- Maybe? 😁

Bruce has so many great ideas - some crazy but they almost always turn out to be something great. He has had this idea of wanting to heat water with our wood stove. So in order to do this he needs copper tubing made into coils. Well in order to coul the pipe he has to fill it full of sand so it doesn’t collapse while he is trying to bend it. He took the pipe up the mountain but guess that wasn’t steep enough- so why not put it in the roof of the house to do it. Thankfully Roy and Brian we’re here to help him. He got it full of sand- we will see if the rest of the plan works later. 😁

Headstone

The Saturday after Thanksgiving right about Scott’s year mark we went to the Joe City Cemetery and lived out Scott’s grave and set the head stone. It was great having Bridget and Karsten there with us.

We had lunch at Lonnie’s afterwards. Something funny- Karsten told Bridget if she ate 3 little tomatoes (she hates tomatoes) he would shave. She didn’t hesitate- she walked right over and got some ranch and popped those babies in her mouth. Karsten did think she would really do it!!

We obviously she ate them! 😂

Thanksgiving 2018

This year was a different Thanksgiving then we have ever had. First Thanksgiving in a long time we haven’t been to the valley for any part of it. Thankfully Bridget and Karsten were with us for the weekend! We had a ton of fun! We took a picture with us 5 at home for our Christmas card- putting Bridget and Karsten and Dustin’s picture separate on it.

We had a delicious meal and have much to be thankful for!

We missed this missionary!! Sounds like he had a good day in Romania with the Senior couple there from Canada fixing dinner for the missionaries.

And the pies.......

Friday we went to Showlow and did a little Black Friday shopping and went and watched the Grinch. Didn’t take any pictures. I sure do love my family!! ❤️

❤️ This Missionary

Sunday nights Elder McLaws gets to go in splits and spend the night with Elder Miller to throw the football around with Elder Miller Monday mornings. This day they got to do it in the snow!

Mark is an Ironman- again

On the 18th of November Mark ran another Ironman- #11 Ironman!! This was in Tempe. He kids stayed home and went to church and Bruce and I went to watch him. He did amazing finishing 1st place in his age group!!

It’s amazing what the human body can do when you train. After it was over he was happy and ready to go to dinner!!! We haven’t seen mark since they moved from Arizona so it was great to see him!! He is an inspiration!!

Crazy Kaylee

This girl is crazy but oh so cute! And beautiful sunset!

Hoop Shoot

Kaylee did the hoop shoot last Friday making 4 baskets out of 10 got 1st place in her age group- well probably because she was the only one for her age group.

Honor Orchestra

Kaylee went to Honor Orchestra in Showlow. Bruce was able to go watch her.
