Hair and Boys

Rhett was growing his hair out so he could get it permed.  Bridget Tylinn and Rhett I guess had to see who's was longer!

 The boys were at Crandell's house for mutual learning how to cook!

Coed

Rachel asked Rhett to Coed.  

 She came with these other 2 at 5:00 am and woke him up with a blow horn.

 It was a 50's theme for the dance.  They had a great time!

State Semi Finals

Well the boys ended up loosing in the semi final game. They had a great season and did way better then expected.  The girls on the other hand took state! So the girls took state in volleyball and again in Basketball.

Getting to State Basketball

The boys and girls were supposed to play in state play off games the following weekend in Prescott Valley again.  Friday and Saturday - Well Thursday there was supposed to be a huge snow storm come and AIA wouldn't reschedule or move it to the valley or anything.  They also said if they don't show up to the game no matter the reason they would forfeit.  So our boys and girls teams took of Wednesday night to Prescott to beat the snow.  This meant they had to stay an extra night there, food etc.  They ended up renting a house for the boys to stay in because it was a lot of down time to be in a hotel.  This happened on Thursday.  Several of the parents left Thursday morning and they got to Payson and closed the roads so they couldn't get out of Payson. They ended up going behind a road block and got to the valley and went to Prescott from the Valley.  Bruce couldn't leave early Thursday so we had to wait until Friday morning to go - after hearing the mess some of the other families got in I was ok we couldn't leave.  

 Bridget and Karsten we going to go to Prescott with us.  They ended up getting to Heber with a very slow drive from Snowflake here.  It ended up AIA finally changed the games to Saturday and didn't play any on Friday.  Friday all the roads out of Heber were closed and the I 40. I was bummed because I thought we were going to miss their game on Friday but with them changing it it all worked out for us.  We didn't have to spend the night in a motel and just went Saturday morning.  As you can see from the pictures we did get lots of snow.  It was beautiful and much needed.

State Basketball Playoffs

This top picture is just old and cute!!

The boys and girls both made it to Basketball playoffs.  There were 2 weekends of it.  This is the first weekend of it. Fun times at Chilies.

 We did great and both made it to Semi Finals for the next weekend.  Rhett did great! The boys actually beat the #1ranked team - Rock Point.  We played great! Rhett did great and helped save the game on defense!

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day Dinner! Megan was staying with us and Rhett was out of town.

Fun Times

For mutual the kids learned dancing from the Reynolds.  These girls had tons of fun with their brother.  I had the camera out but all the rest were videos I took.

Great day at the temple with our kiddos!

We have been playing LOTS of Settlers of Catan lately!  Fun family time!

 Had some fun with filters!  Ahhhhh pretty scary!

Rhett got to go to EA with these Choir Peeps.  Tiffani has done great with our Choir class!  He had lots of fun!

Bruce OICed Snowflake Post Office for about 6 months.  They had a little party his last day there.  He loved it but got tired of the drive.  He worked long long days while working there.

 More fun with filters.  Kaylee Babe loves them!

Rhett got to go Snow Boarding with Scott, Tedi and Porter skiing.  Him and Porter have lots of fun together!

After Snowboarding they went to Snowflake to spend the night.  Happened to be Ground Hog Breakfast morning.  Glad Rhett got to experience this!

 These two got in on some of the Settlers fun!! Love them!
