Dustin Promotion

Dustin was promoted from the 8th grade.  He is a good boy and for that I am thankful.  He is also very cute so here are some pictures of his cuteness.....

 There were 4 kids that tied for valedictorian and Dustin was one of them.  They did a great speech together.

 Grandma Flake - Grandpa couldn't come he was home working on getting water fixed to their house.

 Dustin loves Mrs. Crandell.  She is a very strict but good teacher.  These boys claimed her as their own!

 Bridget was also valedictorian last year so here are both of them with their medals.

 That night they had the party at Crandell's. LJ and Amanda's.  It was  a great party.  They asked for Bruce and I to chaperon so we got to go party with the 8th graders!

 They played minute to win it games.  It was a great idea for the party.

Dustin is a great kid with lots of potential.  We are thankful for the man he is growing up to be!

Last Day of School

We have been having issues with our computer.  Ben took it home to fix it.  I still need to blog about the last day of school but I can't find the pictures on the computer so I am putting this to save a spot for them.

Awards Assembly

The High School's Awards Assembly they have the orchestra play.  Bridget was getting an award so we were invited to go.  It was a very nice evening.  The orchestra played while they served us dinner and we ate then they had the awards.  Bridget got 2 awards at it.

Rhett's Field Trip

I was able to go on Rhett's field trip with him.  I was so excited!  We hiked the 260 trailhead. 

This awesome girl got to go with us too!  I was so glad to be able to spend the day with Jess!

After lunch they got in a huge pinecone war.  I stayed clear of that war!  Some of them had some pretty good marks from the pinecones. 

It was a great day and I was so thankful I got to spend the day with Rhett Man.  He is a great kid!

Bridget work

I wish I could turn this picture. This summer Bridget got her first real job.  She has been working at Blondies! It's a little lunch deli.  She has been loving it.  She gets to work with 2 great friends and loves Blondie and Ken!  She is working about 16-20 hours a week.  It is great for her to be able to earn some money.
