General Conference

We had a good General Conference Sunday.  We started it off with our Cream Filled Crepes.  Grandma and Grandpa came to watch the last session and for dinner.  It was a great day.  Those 2 Sundays along with Easter are my favorite of all the Sundays we have!

 

Swimming

Friday after the temple the kids wanted to go swimming at Darrell and Teresa's.  They think if you go to Mesa you have to swim.  So pretty much anytime unless its around Christmas or Thanksgiving they swim. It was an overcast day so it was pretty chilly but they still swam for 3.5 hours.  Dustin didn't go at first but Holli brought him later after she got off work.

 

 Will and Rachel brought their kids and a bunch of Darrell's grandkids were there so we had a whole slew of kids swimming.  They had the hot tub they could get in and I think that is the only way they could stay so long.  It was perfect for all the spectators watching kids swim :)

Gilbert Temple

On Good Friday there was no school so we left Thursday night we could go to the Gilbert Temple Friday morning.  Angela and Melissa wanted to go too so we decided the kids could go do baptisms and Bruce and I would do sealings.  It was a busy place that morning.  Bruce and I got sealings done and the kids were still in there waiting to be confirmed.  They only let them do 3 names because they were so busy.  It was an enjoyable morning!  Beautiful temple!!

 

Boys backpacking trip

The last 3 days of Spring Break the boys went backpacking.  They went down to Doll Baby Ranch down the west side of Payson.  We went there quite a bit when we lived in Payson.  They parked and hiked 3.5 miles through the middle of the weeds, sticks and river bottom.  They found where they were going to camp and settled for the night.  That night when they were getting fire wood something happened and Rhett got knocked in the head with the bottom of the tree really hard and it knocked him down and about out.  He had a huge goose egg when he got home so I know it had to be even worse when it happened.

 

 The next day they hiked up on top of a big hill so they could call me and check in. They hiked back down and got all their stuff and hiked back up a different way to head toward the car.  They ended up hiking about 10 miles that day.  They were going to just find a different place to camp for the 2nd night and I guess when they got back to the car and the boys mentioned sleeping in their own beds it sound too nice so they came home a night early. Us girls were surprised to see them. 

Rhett Camping

Riley's dad took these crazy boys camping by Roosevelt Lake and Lower Cherry Creek.  There are some pretty cool petroglyphs there.  Here is Rhett in one of them.

 

 All 4 of these crazy boys.  They had lots of fun.  Jeremy brought them home the second night so they could sleep then took them to a diamond backs Spring Training Game.  They had a fun Spring Break together.

Out of Africa - Rhett Man

Rhett's class went to out of Africa for a field trip.  Rhett had a blast!  I wish so bad I could have gone with them.  It was when we were in the thick of building our house and there was no way Bruce or I was getting away to go.  He had lots of fun and got some cool pictures of animals.

High School Days

I am getting some pictures off the other camera and need to get a few pictures posted on here.  This was taken at Homecoming of all these girls (and cute Noah) for fantasy day.

 

 This was twin day.  Amber wanted to Bridget to be her twin.  She got shirts picked out and bought for then along with matching bracelets and socks and brought them to Bridget.  Amber is one of Bridget's biggest fans when it comes to sports!

 This night Whipple, Jennifer, Bridget, and Sienna were doing I don't know what but next thing I knew they were laying on the floor laughing for hours about nothing - just crazy girl things!
