October 21st Bridget turned the big 16! She started out the morning with opening her presents.
And the most exciting thing was an Ipod that she has been wanting for a few years!
French toast was the picking for breakfast!
She had her day at school then right after practice Barr took her to dinner here in town. They are great friends and have been planning since 8th grade for Barr to take Bridget on her first date. He is a great kid!We were trying to think of something fun to do for a little party. She decided she didn't want to do anything because she didn't want people to feel left out if they didn't get invited. I told her we needed to do something. Her birthday was on a Tuesday so it could be something simple. We just decided to do brownies and icecream that night and just have kids come visit for a while. I told her she could invite whoever she wanted. She said that she was doing announcements that morning so could she just announce it on the announcements for the whole school. I was a little worried how many and who would show up but that is what she ended up doing. I just decided I would have lots of brownies and ice cream but when it was gone it was gone. We are ready to party!
There were about 40 kids that showed up so it was perfect! They were her closer friends so it was nice nobody showed up and us wondering why they were here.
Hunter had fun with the little girls - as usualHe was telling them a bed time story about 2 little girls that got to stay up late on a Friday night so we could watch Superman together.....
