Happy Birthday America

We had another great year for the 4th of July. Holli and Shawn came Saturday morning for the parade. We had a house full that night for dinner and the fireworks.

The kids ad fun with all the glow stuff Holli brought.

And fun playing afterwards.
Saturday was our anniversary we didn't do anything but party for the 4th! Happy 19 years to us! Such do love this man of mine!

Monday Bruce had to go to Showlow and pick up mail and Tylinn had to water at Crandells but everybody else was off and Bruce and Tylinn would be home by 9 that morning so we decided we needed to do something as a family. We thought it would be fun to go to Haigler Creek and try to find a swimming hole. We stopped the first place and we're headed down the hill- Dustin was a little ways in front of me and Kaylee. All the sudden we hear him yell  and jump through the air. We got closer and he was just getting ready to put his foot down on a rotted out log and he head the rattle from a snake right under his foot. Thankfully he heard it and jumped. So Bruce and Dustin killed it and Dustin got the rattle off of it.

Later we met this guy on a little road in the middle of know where and had us stop. He had a Payson Forrest Service shirt and hat on but he gave me the creeps. He was all by himself and said his Forrest service rig was up the road blocking th road could we give him a ride. He jumped in the back of the truck and I told Dustin not to take his eye off him. I was very relieved when we turned the corner late and his truck was there. He still gave me the willies! I was glad when he wasn't with us anymore! We did end up finding a good spot to swim and had a great time.
