Kaylee Time

Bruce has been out of town quite a bit with work. Kaylee decid one night when he was gone she would make dinner. She decided on chicken quesadillas. Just so happened Dustin showed up with a couple friends for dinner so Kaylee made for all!

I have been bottling peaches. Kaylee has been a big helper. I needed more jars so she went to the container and got jar and picked some flowers for us to put in it.

Kaylee wanted to show Bridget her hair she did yesterday morning by herself. Great job!

I enjoy having it just be me and Kaylee home after school. Love all my kids but love it when I get one on one time with any of them. We took this picture coming home from school the other day!

Scriptures Minus One

We miss Bridget at home reading scriptures and having family prayer with us. We took a picture to send to her!❤️

Quarter Game for Mutual

Last Wednesday I was in charge of the combine mutual activity. I asked Holli for ideas and she gave me the idea to play the quarter game. It was a big success! The kids had a lot of fun! Ice cream sandwiches for refreshments!

Unicycle

We were leaving Uncle Lonnie's house after Carl's baby blessing and these boys wanted to try out the unicycle.

Guess they need a few more lessons from the best!

I LOVE watching my boys play football! Especially when they play together. Dustin #22 and Rhett #35!

Last Friday morning when there was no school Kaylee got up and made Tylinn a breakfast burrito and served her breakfast in bed! Kaylee is always doing kind acts of service for others.

Bridget to NAU

August 26,2017 was the hardest day of my life so far. We dropped Bridget off at NAU for College. I know she will do great thing with her life but I have a very hard time wrapping my brain around life will never be the same again.

Made a quick visit to see Rebecca. She had been there a few days before Bridget. Their apartments are quite a ways away from each other.

The final good bye was sooo hard. I didn't know your heart could actually hurt but mine did that day. 

Bridget has done amazing at school and made lots of friends super fast. I knew she would! I am thankful the hardest day of my life this far was at least good things. Bridget is a great girl and has great scholarships to pay for her college. So thankful for this girl and the 4 I still have at home!!

Kaylee found some baby kitties in barn. All but 1 was dead and pretty sure the mom was dead . We brought it in the house to nurse it to try to keep it alive. Went to the vet and got milk replacement and a little dropper thing. Got goats milk from Whipple's but it didn't make it past the night.

Kids leaving for a temple trip before Bridget leaves for college. Girls are waking around the grass doing a snake check for me before I mow then law. Great kiddos!!
